Twilight Lanes (Monday - Thursday: Open - Close) It's a shame really, this is such a unique experience to the area so to have it so poorly executed is disappointing.Per Game Twilight Lanes (Monday - Thursday: Open - Close) Not to mention, we had planned to let the kids play in the arcade area for a while after, but no one wanted to spend any time there because of the volume. Unfortunately, the enjoyment of the AR bowling experience was marred by the extremely poor service experience, and I'm confident we will likely not return. At this point, upon seeing us walking out, she stopped me to say she had to bring me the receipt for my signature. We then didn't see her again until we left. It took 10 minutes before she came back with his. She brought our drinks a few minutes later but was missing one for my son (who was overheated by this point and had stopped bowling as a result). Shortly after, yet another server came to our lane, explaining they had just gone through shift change, and no one told her any lanes were waiting. After 5 minutes, with no one arriving, I went up to the check-in counter and found a manager, whom I told it had been 20 minutes since we got our food and no drinks. 15 minutes later we still did not have our drinks, so I again pressed the service call button. She stated she would be right back with them. Our food arrived promptly, delivered by yet another server, but she did not have our drinks. When she appeared she apologized, stating she had been sent "outside" and just returned. After 5-10 minutes, when we still hadn't seen our server, we pressed the button to call them. After placing the order, you are informed that a server will come to verify payment and then your order will be prepared. 15 minutes later, she had yet to come back, so we ordered through the kiosk. She came back about 2 minutes later to see if we were ready but the rest of our party had still not come so she said she'd be right back. I told her that we were waiting on a few additional people and once they arrived, we'd definitely do so. Upon arrival at our lane, the server introduced herself and told us that we could just order through her, rather than using the kiosk tablet to do so. It was at this point that he informed us we'd be sharing the space with another family because we had only reserved one lane. When he returned he took some time to look up our reservation and get us set. Why they aren't cleaned when people leave, I don't know. Flustered, he informed me that he'd have to go clean a lane before he could check us in.
I told the gentlemen that we had a VIP Lane reservation. He told us to instead go to the other gentlemen to check in so, we did.
The manager then stayed at that registered so, when they were done, we moved up to him. He asked a manager to help the folks in front of us (who appeared to have some sort of issue). Additionally, there was only one man behind the counter. Upon arrival we found there to be a line of waiting people in the "Fast Lane" and none in the regular line. When making reservations, it is drilled into you that you need to go to the "Fast Lane" area to check in. Below are the details of our VIP Lane experience: Overall, we had a good time but, I'm not sure we'll be back. We visit Frankie's frequently, which also has a large arcade and bowling, and never have I felt like I had to avoid the arcade for fear of leaving with a headache. Additionally, reservation of a single VIP lane means you will be sharing the space with another group. Summary: The AR bowling on the VIP lanes is fun (albeit a bit confusing on some of the games you can chose) but, the service at the lanes is horrible.
